Lion’s Mane mushrooms are visually striking, resembling a cascading white mane. Known for their neuroregenerative properties, they contain compounds like hericenones and erinacines that support nerve growth factor (NGF) production. They are commonly used medicinally to improve cognitive function, memory, and focus. In culinary use, Lion’s Mane offers a delicate, sea-food-like flavor often compared to lobster or crab, with a tender, meaty texture that absorbs sauces well.
