King Trumpet Mushroom

Scientific Name: Pleurotus eryngii

King Trumpet mushrooms, also called King Oyster, have thick, meaty stems and small caps. Their savory, umami-forward flavor deepens when roasted or grilled. Often used as a plant-based alternative to scallops or steaks, their dense texture offers excellent bite. They also exhibit antioxidant and cholesterol-reducing properties, making them popular in health-conscious dishes.
